Eastern Rideau River multi-use pathway is now closed

The eastern Rideau River multi-use pathway is now closed as of September 15. The western Rideau River multi-use pathway is now re-opened, however, closures on both sides will alternate on a weekly basis until October due to ongoing construction work. Please view the detour map for details.

Reminder: Public meeting for The Regional Group’s proposed plan for the Oblate lands – September 16

The Regional Group will present their proposed plan for the Oblate lands at a public meeting at 7 pm on Tuesday, September 16, at Saint Paul University in the Amphitheatre. All are welcome to attend. Please view the poster for more details.

New Lees Avenue bridge re-opened to pedestrians and cyclists - September 15

The new Lees Avenue bridge (over Highway 417) has reopened to pedestrians and cyclists as of September 15. This portion of Lees Avenue will open to general traffic by September 19. Construction work, however, will continue on Lees Avenue between Main Street and the bridge until October.

Brantwood Park Fall Clean-up - October 11

The annual Brantwood Park fall clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please meet at the Brantwood Park field house (at Onslow/Burnham), bags and gloves will be provided. All are welcome and this event is rain or shine!

Viewing site for Lees Avenue bridge replacement - September 6

The City of Ottawa has set up a small viewing area for the Lees Avenue Bridge Replacement scheduled for this weekend.

Residents are welcome to attend the viewing but please note that seating is limited (100 spaces).
