The eastern pathway is scheduled to close on November 19. Additional “share the road” signs will be installed along Vanier Parkway during the eastern pathway closure. The western pathway is scheduled to reopen as early as November 28. Please note that these dates are dependent on weather and work progress.

Beginning the week of November 3, 2014, the City of Ottawa will begin construction work on properties located along Elliot Avenue and Rideau River Drive (in addition to Leanne Street, Phoenix Crescent, Payette Drive, and Granada Drive). This activity will include the rehabilitation of several depressed driveway entrances at the roadway edge.
WHO: The City of Ottawa has hired the Contractor, Ottawa D Squared, to complete the work.
WHY: The purpose of the project is to address concerns related to drainage from the roadway flowing onto depressed driveways.
