The OECA presented their objections to the rezoning of the property at 113-115 Echo Drive at the October 11, 2016, planning committee meeting at Ottawa City Hall. While the proposal was ultimately approved by the committee, the OECA felt it important to raise some concerns and the OECA's presentation is available for viewing here.

The OECA has submitted comments to City of Ottawa elected officials regarding the need for new central library in the downtown core and for a transparent process. The letter is available here.

The OECA is seeking your feedback on the new canal dock installed this year at Clegg Street. When this dock (and the one located at Patterson Creek) were installed, it was done as a pilot project to be evaluated at the end of the season. The OECA believes that the docks are a valuable addition to our community and to the city, and will be writing to Minister Catherine McKenna to express our thoughts.
