The City of Ottawa has provided the OOECA with the following information regarding the construction that is due to begin at 115 Echo Drive. The project is planned for approximately 20 months and construction noise is expected throughout the entire project. We will post more information as the development progresses.

Due to the on-going COVID-19 situation, April's OOECA board meeting is being held virtually, on Tuesday April 13th, at 7pm
The meeting will be held via Zoom, which requires the application to be installed on your computer.
The agenda and March minutes will be posted as soon as they are available on the community website: ottawaeast.ca. Please familiarize yourself with these items before the meeting.
The Zoom link will be posted to the website 2 hours prior to event start time.

At 360 Deschatelets Ave (Greystone 1C), a tree permit has been issued to remove the existing four (4) trees located on the property, in the former bus loop. This is an approved removal of trees, and was passed at council in November 2020.
The work is slated to being on Friday April 9th.

This summer, the University of Ottawa proposes to start a large construction project of a new Health Sciences building on the Lees Campus in Old Ottawa East. This first phase of rebuilding the newly named “River Campus” will take two years and will include demolition of old buildings, construction of a new five-story building, infrastructure upgrades and landscaping.
